GRP rebar is also called glass fiber reinforcement, commonly known as glass reinforcement or fiber reinforcement. Fiber has high tensile strength and is the main provider of strength of fiber-reinforced composite materials, mainly for bearing load. The high-strength GRP rebar produced is widely used in shield tunneling through underground diaphragm walls, column piles, and pull-up piles, including the range of the entrance and exit holes of the end wells of subway stations.
GRP rebar is basically similar to steel bars in performance, has good adhesion to concrete, and has high tensile strength and low shear strength. No abnormal damage will be caused.
