(Summary description)With the development of construction technology and material industry, more and more non-linear and streamlined designs can be separated from the paper and formed on the ground. Among them, it is inseparable from the application of GRG, GRC, and GRP rebar. The prospects for the use of these three materials are broad, but the relevant material knowledge is relatively scarce. It is not convenient for designers to understand these three materials, and it also restricts the use of the three materials by designers.

GRP rebar materials are also widely used in non-linear, streamlined designs. Maybe it's by your side, but you don't know it. Let’s take everyone to find out:
GRP rebar, another name is FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastics), commonly known as FRP. The high-performance material formed by mixing the fiber material and the matrix material in a certain ratio has the characteristics of light and hard, non-conductive, high mechanical strength, and corrosion resistance.
Many designers are relatively new to GRP rebar materials. In fact, GRP rebar materials have been around for many years. Since its inception in the 1940s, FRP was first used in aerospace, military and other fields.
Taking passenger aircraft as an example, the proportion of FRP in passenger aircraft manufacturing materials has been increasing year by year, and both Boeing 787 and Airbus 350 have exceeded 50% (weight ratio), which is higher than steel, aluminum, titanium and other metals and their alloys.
With the reduction of material preparation costs, FRP has also begun to enter the life of the general public. Commonly used are glass fiber reinforced composite material GFRP (commonly known as glass fiber reinforced plastic) and carbon fiber reinforced composite material CFRP.
GFRP is mostly used in landscape sculptures, seats, trash cans, storage tanks, etc. CFRP can be used in yachts, automobiles, bicycles, sports and leisure equipment, etc.
